The University of Maryland Memorial Hospital Foundation recently recognized Annette Moore, RNC, ONC and Laurie Gaffney, RN, BSN from the Joint Center at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton as Everyday Heroes.  The nurses were nominated by Rosemary Trippe of Easton, for the care they provided her while she was a patient at the Joint Center.

Celebrating the Everyday Heroes recognition are (from left to right) F. Graham Lee, vice president for philanthropy, University of Maryland Shore Regional Health; Rosemary Trippe; Annette Moore, RNC, ONC; Laurie Gaffney, RN, BSN; and Martha Clark, BS, RN, nurse manager, Surgical Unit. 

The Everyday Hero Program provides patients and their family members an opportunity to thank a University of Maryland Shore Regional Health physician, employee or volunteer by making a financial donation to the UM Memorial Hospital Foundation in their name. The UM Memorial Hospital Foundation uses these donations to support UM Shore Regional Health in continuing its mission of delivering exceptional care, every day.
