Kenneth Patrick Ligaray, MD, has joined the Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate at Shore Health System as medical director. Dr. Ligaray specializes in endocrinology and the treatment of diabetes.

Dr. Ligaray graduated from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine. He completed residency training at the University of Illinois at Chicago Advocate Christ Medical Center and a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the St. Louis University Hospital in Missouri. Dr. Ligaray is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and endocrinology.

Prior to joining the Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate at Shore Health System, Dr. Ligaray was assistant professor of medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine.
