We are pleased to announce the details of Kennard’s Annual Gala event,
which will take place on Nov 11 th , starting at 11:30am at 410 Little Kidwell Ave. in Centreville. This event, which is our major fundraiser, supports the operation and programs of The Kennard African American Cultural heritage Center and Museum. The proceeds from this event also provide funding for
the Kennard Alumni’s programs and scholarships. This year, in addition to the online raffle, we are holding an “In -Person Luncheon”, honoring former Kennard High School teachers, Mrs. Madelyn
Hollis and Dr. Velma Speight. There will be raffle tickets available for sale to win 1 or more of several prize packages that include lodging and meals in beautiful Queen Anne’s County. There will also be opportunities to sponsor his event or donate to help make this event a success.
