Hezekiah Thomason is now a hero in Betterton. Thomason saw 25-year-old Nicole Harvey in the water off Betterton Beach last week. It seems Harvey lost her hair tie and dove down to get it, but never came up. Thomason, just 13, saw that Harvey was in trouble and swam out to get her. It was Thomason’s quick thinking that saved the woman’s life. Harvey was flown to Shock-Trauma, and she is okay.
