Kent County Worker Charged In Gas Card Theft

A worker at the Kent County Dept of Public Works is in trouble. Michael Bostic, 43-year-old resident of Townsend, Delaware, is charged with misusing a Shell gas card used for filling the tanks of county vehicles. Bostic was arrested after an investigation showed him reportedly used the card to buy $190 worth of gas for his own cars. Misuse of cards is generally handled in-house. In this case, the county decided to prosecute Bostic, who is free on a criminal summons pending another hearing in late February.
