Come out for a day of nostalgia and memories at the Kent Island Cruisers’ 5th Annual Benefit Car Show to be held on September 10, 2011. Last year over 60 classic and muscle cars, hot rods and antiques, and all kinds of special interest vehicles were displayed. Every car has a story, and every owner and spectator loves to recall that time in their lives when a particular car was in its heyday.

Spectators are welcome at no charge and there will be one special trophy awarded as “Spectators’ Choice”. Come out and vote for your favorite! A delicious lunch of hot dogs and freshly made subs by Love Point Deli will be available for purchase for a very reasonable price and families of the Kent Island Christian School will provide many luscious desserts and other snacks to tempt your sweet tooth at a bake sale. Ice cream and snow balls will also be available for purchase.

The show will be from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm on the parking lot of the Kent Island United Methodist Church, located at Rt. 50 and Cox Neck Road in Chester. Funds raised at the car show will support the operating budget of the Kent Island Christian School.
