Kent Narrows Sail and Power Squadron Events

September 13, 20 & 27, America’s Boating Course, 6:30-9:30 PM at Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department.  Maryland law requires that any person born on, or after July 1, 1971 must have in their possession a certificate of boating safety education.  This basic course satisfies that requirement.  $25 per person. October 18 & 25, November 1 & 8, 6-9 PM, Oyster Cove Community Room, United States Power Squadrons’ Seamanship, formerly only available to USPS members, offered for the first time to the public.  Seamanship builds on America’s Boating Course, with emphasis on higher level boating skills, rules of the road, marlinspike and more… $150 to the public, $45 to USPS members, includes class materials.  Kent Narrows Sail and Power Squadron, contact Dick Radlinski 410 827-3376

September 29, 7-9 PM, Oyster Cove Community Room, Fishing Seminar “The Life of a Migrant Fishing Guide” featuring Captain Mark Galasso, a local expert with more than 30 years fishing and cruising the Chesapeake and coastal waters.
