KIFA Artists Exhibit at Chesapeake Heritage & Visitors Center

‘Eastern Shore Impressions’, an art exhibit of 50 one of a kind pieces of art, is currently on display at the Chesapeake Heritage & Visitors Center at Kent Narrows through the end of September. The call for Kent Island Federation of Arts members went out announcing that the county had invited them to show their artwork at the popular Visitors Center. The show’s focus is overwhelmingly eastern shore, with artistic interpretations of the people, water, boats, waterfowl, and natural landscapes, uniquely known as the Eastern Shore. Ten artists accepted the opportunity, including works from Peg Papa (oils), Linda Schuerholz (photography), and Maureen Wheatley (acrylics), just to name a few.

The exhibit is located at the newly named Chesapeake Heritage & Visitors Center (formerly the QAC Exploration Center), 425 Piney Narrows Rd., Chester, MD. The Center is now open on weekends through November. For center hours and more information go to www.visitqueenannes.com or call 410-604-2100.
