As a service to private landlords and realtors, the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a Landlord Training Program focusing on Applicant Screening, Rental Agreements, Warning Signs of Drug Activity, The Role of Police, Crisis Resolution and a review of Maryland Landlord / Tenant Laws including the eviction process.
Guest speakers will include Sheriff R. Gery Hofmann, States Attorney Lance G. Richardson and members of the Queen Anne’s County Drug Task Force.
Two sessions will be held at the Holiday Inn Express in Grasonville. The first session will be two evenings, Tuesday March 16th and Thursday March 18th from 6:30 to 9:30 PM. A second one day class will also be held on Saturday, April 17th from 8 AM to 3 PM.
The cost is $15.00 per person and includes a Landlord Guide Book and refreshments. You do not have to be a resident of Queen Anne’s County to attend.
