Leadership for Women Conference: “Reinventing Yourself”

3 co-chairs (400 x 137)“Reinventing Yourself” is the theme for the second annual “Leadership for Women Conference” to be held Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Historical Society Auditorium in Easton, MD. This day-long leadership conference will feature women from all age groups who have reinvented their careers and lives. Conference participants will meet other inspiring successful women leaders and have the opportunity to make lasting connections through networking sessions, an “on the town” luncheon at several Easton restaurants, and a “wine and windup” at the end of the day.

Proceeds from the conference will provide scholarships for women to attend Chesapeake College. Conference speakers include 2BoomerBabes, Barbara Kline and Kathy Bernard; Elizabeth Devlin, founder of Pageturners; Wendy Palmer, co-owner of Latitude 38 and The Masthead at Pier Street Marina; Freya Farley, acupuncturist, Evergreen, A Center for Balanced Living; Lynda Boettner and Hira Paracha, Chesapeake Trading Co.; and Brandy Reece, career expert at the United States Senate and winner of the 2012 Funniest Fed Competition.

2013 Conference Co-Chairs are Dr. Barbara Viniar, President, Chesapeake College; Maggie Jarboe, Senior Account Representative, What’s Up Media; and Shar McBee, author of “To Lead is to Serve” and “Joy of Leadership.”
