The League of Women Voters of Queen Anne’s County met recently at a member’s home to plan the League’s 2011-12 calendar. Programs for the coming year were scheduled with a focus on upcoming elections in Queen Anne’s County towns, as well as the state and national elections that will be held in 2012. The League sponsors forums on a number of other topics of interest to citizens, such as the environment, land use, social issues, good government and childhood education.
