On Monday, August 29, at 6:30 p.m., “library guy” Bill Peak will host a discussion in the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library of Michael Shaara’s acclaimed novel, “The Killer Angels.” Often called the greatest Civil War novel ever written, “Killer Angels” tells the story of the battle of Gettysburg from the point of view of several of that engagement’s most important players. Library programs are free and open to the public, but patrons are asked to call and pre-register for this discussion. For more information, call the library at 410-822-1626, or visit www.tcfl.org.
