Lighthouse Christian Academy’s 10th Annual Auction Celebration is being held at 6:30 PM on Friday, May 6, 2011, at the Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department at 1610 Main Street in Chester. The theme of the auction, “Leaving a Legacy,” celebrates the school’s 10th anniversary with returning alumni and entertainment by local musicians Todd and Cindy Bauchspies.

The event will include a catered dinner, silent auction, First Bidder Frenzy raffle for an Amazon Kindle eReader, and tributes from alumni. Guests of the auction can bid on a variety of unique and appealing auction packages, including an autographed Paul Reed Smith SE guitar, a ride in “Panchito”, a 1944 B-25J Mitchell bomber, sporting events and memorabilia, student artwork, getaways, and more.

All proceeds benefit the Lighthouse Christian Academy Annual Fund. The Special Appeal will benefit teacher training and education. Sponsorships and affordable program advertising are still available.
