What better way to celebrate the splendors of summer than at a community peach festival? Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 7th from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, rain or shine. Hosted by Lighthouse Christian Academy, this family event will be held on the grounds of Island Alliance Church, 510 Thompson Creek Road, Stevensville. Admission is free, however, hot dogs, hamburgers, peach pies, peach smoothies, and just plain peaches will be available for purchase. There will be activities for all ages including a magic show, a dunking booth, face painting, kid’s games, and more! Preorders of 1/4 and 1/2 bushels of peaches are available for $20 and $35, respectively, through July 28.
