LLP is so much more than a preschool for little ones. It’s a community of families raising their children together. At Little Lamb families meet daily, communicate their children’s needs with their teachers and connect with friends. We offer opportunities for parents to socialize over coffee, plan events such as 5K runs, community yard sales, class field trips, parties and fund raisers that support each other and the needs of our school.
This year at Little Lamb we have worked with more than 90 families to provide classes and opportunities for their children. From 2 to 6 years for day classes and after school clubs for the oldest students. These include Sign language and Spanish club. Our half day programs have always been fun and filled with an excitement to learn. Our new extended day K4K5 class is amazing and has surpassed any of our expectations. Children come to school excited about reading, writing and learning about the glory of Jesus through the books in his Bible. These students have had at least 1 trip monthly in our community learning about nature during a “hands on/ feet in” experience at CBEC , about farming at Dominic’s Farm, emergency Services at the GVFD, health and exercise at Busy Bodies Gym and heart healthy cardio with a local Zumba instructor.
The strong Bible based curriculum incudes Language Arts, Science, Math, Music, basic sign language and Spanish. We also provide opportunities for family inclusive field trips and on-site educational visitors for all classes. Our classrooms are located on the Wye Bible Campus in Grasonville. Little Lamb is a ministry of Wye Bible Church that began almost 11 years ago. The church has provided this ministry with a beautiful building on campus and has encouraged our growth by allowing the Sunday school wing to be shared for our weekly K4K5 program and the multipurpose sanctuary to be used for large group activities such as celebrations and meals throughout the year. Our church Pastor Larry Dyson provides Bible Time with Pastor Larry weekly. Scripture that coordinates with the curriculum and cross curricular activities is read and discussed. Pastor Larry has commented many times that this is one of his favorite roles at Wye Bible Church and he is always available for the families of Little Lamb.
Many of our students attend our Sunday school, Children’s Church with Mr. Webb on Sunday and the AWANA program held every Wednesday at 6:30. These programs are all offered to anyone in the community whether you are a member of Wye Bible or not.

This year we have applied for and received several grants that will provide monies for staff development and technology improvements. We are scheduled to attend ACSI Early Ed conference this week and look forward to some additional professional development opportunities this Spring and Summer. The large technology grant received will help provide additional computers, video equipment and tech support. In addition to grants we have received several monetary gifts that are earmarked for our library and office space. Building additions and expansion ideas are being evaluated. Our church main campus is undergoing an expansion this Spring and will provide needed space for the many growing activities at Wye Bible.
Little Lamb Preschool holds a LOC license through the MSDE for 2-5 year olds, is a member of the Association of Christian Schools, and is a certified non-public church exempt school licensed through the State of Md. We are a non-profit ministry of Wye Bible Church.
