In only its second tournament of the 2011 season, the 14U Shore Attitude Softball Travel Team earned a spot in the 2011 Amateur Softball Association’s (ASA) Eastern Nationals tournament following a second-place finish in the Centreville Invitational, held May 7, at Route 18 Park in Centreville, MD.
Established in 2010, “Shore Attitude” is the newest softball travel team on the Eastern Shore. Its 16U, 14U, 12U and 10U travel teams are comprised of young ladies from throughout Queen Anne’s, Caroline, Kent and Talbot counties. Shore Attitude is affiliated with Maryland/DC ASA. ASA is the national governing body of softball.
The 14U ASA Eastern Nationals tournament is a five-day event that will take place August 2 – 7 in Charles County, MD. Business sponsorships and individual donations to assist in the team with travel, hotel and meal expenses are generously accepted.
