MacDougall Named Nurse Manager of Women’s and Children’s Health

Patty MacDougall, MSN, RN, of Easton is Shore Health System’s new nurse manager for Women’s and Children’s Health. Based in Easton, she is responsible for daily operations and management of the Birthing Center and Pediatrics unit at the Memorial Hospital at Easton.

Prior to joining Shore Health System, MacDougall was manager of the Mother-Baby unit at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Va. MacDougall earned a Masters in Nursing at Old Dominion University in Norfolk and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island. She also has an Associate’s Degree in Social Services from Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach, Va.

“Working in this area is a real passion for me – I get a lot of pleasure out of helping women deliver and learn to care for their babies,” says MacDougall. “Being able to work in a setting that includes all aspects of maternity and pediatric care is very fulfilling and I am excited to work in a hospital that is so dedicated to its nursing staff.”
