Mangold and Vermilye Named New United Fund Directors

The United Fund of Talbot County (UFTC) announced the unanimous election of Chuck Mangold, Jr. and James M. Vermilye as new members to its governing board, Class of 2013, at a recent board of directors meeting.

Chuck Mangold, Jr., a Talbot County resident since the age of nine, has been serving the residential and commercial real estate needs of the mid-shore since 2001 as a member of the Benson & Mangold team. A graduate of Saints Peter and Paul, he went on to receive his associate’s degree in accounting from Chesapeake College and later attended Loyola College in Baltimore. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Talbot Chamber of Commerce, The Country School, and Habitat for Humanity. Chuck, his wife Lauren, and their three sons reside in Easton.

As Senior Vice President of Wye Financial & Trust, Jim Vermilye provides financial strategies and investment solutions to satisfy his clients’ business and personal needs.  He is a graduate of St. Mary’s College of Maryland with degrees in economics and political science, as well as the College for Financial Planning.  Like Chuck, Jim is an active participant in the community, serving as a member of the board of the Gunston Day School, Talbot Hospice Foundation, Critchlow Adkins Children’s Centers, Chesapeake College Foundation, and on the finance committees of Shore Health Systems and the Mid-Shore Community Foundation. He resides in Annapolis with his wife, D’Ann, and their two children.
