Recipients include Asbury Methodist Church, Scott’s United Methodist Church, St. Vincent de Paul Society of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Neighborhood Service Center, Presbyterian Church of Easton, St. Michaels Food Pantry, Tilghman Food Pantry, and Union United Methodist Church. The CarePacks of Talbot County program for children in need is also a beneficiary.

Community and corporate support for the event continues to soar with volunteers of all ages lending their time and talent to make the dinner a success. Last year, numerous volunteers generously offered their time, talent, and spirit making Talbot County Empty Bowls Community Dinner a banner success. Hundreds of hand crafted bowls, 48 gallons of soup and chili, dozens of desserts, breads, and flowers were donated and enjoyed at two sold-out venues with record-breaking attendance.
