Mary Mengason of Avery Hall Benefit Solutions, president of the Eastern Shore Chapter of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), recently received a Maryland Person of the Year Award in Annapolis, MD. The Eastern Shore Chapter (ESAHU) is one of more than 200 NAHU chapters across America. NAHU represents more than 100,000 licensed health insurance agents, brokers, consultants and benefit professionals. NAHU members service the health insurance needs of large and small employers as well as people seeking individual health insurance coverage. One of NAHU’s primary goals is to promote access to affordable health insurance coverage.
