Maryland Primary Care Physicians Hosts Johns Hopkins Hubert H. Humphrey Fellows

Humphrey Fellows visit_11-20-09 (400 x 300)On Friday November 20, 2009 Maryland Primary Care Physicians hosted an international group of doctors in the U.S. for a year of focused professional training.  A presentation on “Delivering Health Care in an Electronic World”, was given to the group, which includes doctors from Brazil, Ghana, Russia, Myanmar, Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Humphrey Fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health focuses on professional development of fellows specializing in intersections between drug dependence and infectious disease epidemiology and prevention, and issues related to international maternal and child health.
