Mattel and Stevensville’s Ride Entertainment Group Team Up To Bring Hot Wheels® Branded Attractions To The Amusement Park Industry

Mattel, Inc. and the Ride Entertainment Group of Stevensville, an international leader in providing branded attractions in the amusement industry, have announced an agreement to introduce Hot Wheels® branded park attractions to North American theme parks. Originally introduced by Mattel in 1968, Hot Wheels® is the No. 1 vehicle property in the United States, and one of the most popular toy brands globally.

Ride Entertainment Group will coordinate all details from branded attraction design and development to implementing licensed branding. Park guests will be put directly into the driver’s seat as they experience Hot Wheels® branded amusement park attractions. Anticipated ride experiences range from family-friendly to extreme racing coasters that simulate the feeling of racing through an actual Hot Wheels® track complete with high-speed banks, loops and other exciting elements.

“We are thrilled to be working with Mattel in bringing the excitement and popularity of Hot Wheels® to life in theme parks around the world,” says Ride Entertainment Group CEO Ed Hiller.

Mattel and Hot Wheels are represented by Creative Artists Agency (CAA). The Ride Entertainment Group, with offices in Stevensville, Md., Salt Lake City, Utah, and New York City, is a world leader in providing thrilling attractions to the entertainment industry.
