Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast to Feature CEO Thomas Hutchison

On Friday, October 28, 2011, from 7 to 9 a.m., Easton’s 29th Annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast will be held at the Tidewater Inn in Easton.  This year’s breakfast will feature Thomas J. Hutchison III, principal founder of Legacy Hotel Advisors, LCC, and Legacy Healthcare Properties, LLC, as the guest speaker.

Hutchison, a resident of Talbot County and Orlando, FL, is a senior executive with more than 35 years experience in the lodging, hospitality, real estate development and financial services industries.  He feels that the individual is a pivotal force in organizational excellence and has created a model for cultivating enduring relationships from which every corporate leader can learn.  Recently, Hutchison was published in Donald Trump’s book, “The Best Real Estate Advice I Ever Received” and in “Goals for Successful CEO’s.”

He comments about his spiritual journey, “In my business career, I was on the fast track; life was exciting. I soon discovered that something was missing.  With all of the material possessions, there was a void.  This caused me to look inward and examine my life and my faith.” He adds, “I realized that my faith was not focused on what the scriptures teach, but on myself and it was not working. God orchestrated a most fascinating string of events that changed my life forever.”

Tickets to the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast may be purchased at Sears in Easton, Chick-fil-A, the Easton Town Office, or the Talbot County Chamber of Commerce beginning on October 1, 2011.  Tickets are also available from the following members of the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast Committee: Mayor Robert Willey, Bob Dunsmoor, Larry Smith, Paul Carroll, F. Graham Lee, Amy Steward, Josh Horner, and Chip Hosford.  The cost is $12 a person and seating is limited. Tickets should be purchased in advance.  For further information, contact Kathy Ruff at 410-822-2525 or visit the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast Facebook Page.
