The Queen Anne’s County Chapter of Americans for Prosperity (AFP) will hold a “Meet the Candidates Fair” on Monday, August 16 from 6 to 9 pm at the Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department Hall in Chester.  Over 45 candidates have accepted the invitation to participate. The event is open to the public.

As a non-partisan, 501C3 organization, AFP invited all filed candidates (regardless of party) to attend and, as such, an excellent cross-section of political viewpoints will be represented.  Candidates (or their representatives) running for the following offices will be at the event: Governor, Comptroller, US Senate, 1st Congressional Office, State Senate, State Delegate, Queen Anne’s County Commissioner, Clerk of Court, Register of Wills, Orphans Court, and Sheriff.  For a full list candidates, visit AFP’s Facebook page (Americans for Prosperity – Queen Anne’s County).

AFP is committed to educating citizens about economic policy and mobilizing those citizens as advocates in the public policy process.
