Mid-Shore Board of REALTORS congratulates Janet Powers with Rosendale Realty for completing her Graduate, REALTOR Institute (GRI) Designation. 

Powers specializes in residential property sales said she wanted to obtain her GRI because she loves helping all kinds of people find their homes, first time home buyers, retirees, and second homes. A Marylander native, Janet has lived on Kent Island for the past 21 years
and knows this area has much to offer. She has worked with clients who are buying and selling from the bay bridge all the way to the beach.

The GRI designation requires 90-hours of coursework and includes: The Sales Process, Legal and Regulatory, Technology and Business courses plus Professional Standards. The GRI designation informs prospective buyers and sellers that this REALTOR® has gained an in-depth knowledge on technical subjects as well as the fundamentals of real estate and shows the agent’s commitment to the industry through continued education.

Janet resides in Kent Island and has a thorough knowledge of the Eastern Shore. She is a member of the association Government Affairs Committee to stay informed of pending real estate issues so she can better serve her clients.
