Chestertown, MD – April 20, 2020 – Over the past four years, Bay Cleaning has donated $4,510 in
cleaning services to local cancer patients through their partnership with nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason.
Owner Charlotte Zang wants to bring heightened awareness of the cause to the area during Cleaning for
a Reason Week, April 18-24. The goal is to help more households battling any type of cancer to receive
the gift of a clean home.
“Cleaning for a Reason is a wonderful organization that
provides a much needed service for cancer patients and their
families in their time of need,” Zang said. “As a partner, we
have cleaned for many cancer patients who have invited us
into their homes, while they are in treatment. It is an honor
to serve them, while they work on getting healthy. During
this COVID-19 crisis, we are eager to do our part as an
essential business by providing a clean, safe, healthy home
for all of our clients and especially the cancer patients.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Bay
Cleaning supports two homes per month for two
consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing
service to cancer patients residing in Kent and Queen Anne
Counties.
