The Bubble Lady
For all ages
Friday, November 1 at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.
See, touch, and blow giant bubbles, long bubbles, and smoke bubbles with “The Bubble Lady.” You could go inside a bubble! Made possible by a grant from the Sinsky-Kresser-Racusin Memorial Foundation.

Tablet Magic Story Hour
For Kdg-2nd grade
Monday, November 4 at 1:30 p.m.
Together we will use an iPad app to create a story, such as a fractured fairy tale. Small groups will use toys, puppets, and props to represent a story scene. Join us for a fun mix of storytelling and technology! Presented by Rachael Stein of Eastern Shore Regional Library.

Read to Rover
For Kdg-5th grade
Thursday, November 7 from 4:00-5:00 p.m.
Tuesdays, November 12 and 26 from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Read to a dog from Pets on Wheels to develop reading skills and confidence. Please pre-register.

Storytime with the Zoo
For ages 2-5
Friday, November 8 at 11:00 a.m. in the children’s room
Meet one the Maryland Zoo’s animal ambassadors as the ZOOMobile team presents an interactive reading of a wildlife-themed children’s book and an animal-related craft. Pre-registration is required and limited to 35 children. Please call (410) 643-8161.

Cookie Decorating and Sweet Treats Exchange
For ages 10 and up
Wednesday, November 13 at 2:30 p.m.
Decorate sugar cookies with us! Please sign up by Nov. 11 so we know how many cookies to order. You may also choose to prepare a sweet treat to exchange. Recipe forms are available at the circulation desk.

Pajama Program Storytime
For babies-age 5 with an adult
Friday, November 15 at 9:45 a.m.
Roll right out of bed and wear your PJs to enjoy stories, songs, and rhymes. Bring a new pair of pajamas (toddler sizes through pre-teen) to donate to the Pajama Program. Face painting and goodie bags provided by the Pajama Program.

Turkey Time
For babies-age 5 with an adult
Thursday, November 21 at 10:30 a.m.
Friday, November 22 at 9:45 a.m.
Sing, read, play, talk, and write about Thanksgiving followed by a turkey craft and playtime.

Art at Noon
For all ages
Every Saturday from 12:00-2:00 p.m.
An old library book can become your canvas as you practice creative expression using recycled materials. Work on group projects and make an individual piece of mixed media art to take home. Gain experience with scissors, glue, paint, oil pastels, and more. Materials vary weekly. Hosted by artist Glenn Shiring.
