A grateful patient made a donation to the Memorial Hospital Foundation to honor Vascular Access Specialist Sandy James, BSN, RN, as an Everyday Hero.

The donor was a patient at the Memorial Hospital at Easton when he received care from James. In a note to the Memorial Hospital Foundation, the patient wrote, “I chose Ms. James because of her unusual ability to come in, spot a problem and take immediate action to correct it. Each time she came (to my room), it was with a minimum of fuss, but with complete competence in her duties. She is an asset to Memorial Hospital.”
