The Queen Anne’s County Arts Council’s Centre for the Arts in Centreville, Maryland announces a special workshop by oil painting artist Barbara Love. Love will teach 3 full sessions on traditional techniques for painting in oils. Light patterns, shadows, brush strokes, composition, palette and color mixing will be discussed and brought to life on your canvas in this class. An emphasis on individual instruction is part of this offering.
An official copiest for the National Gallery in Washington, D.C., her knowledge of the history of oil painting and its many artistic techniques brings depth to her own work which is held in public and private collections internationally.
