Pain Care Staff Recognized as Everyday Heroes

The employees of Shore Comprehensive Pain Care were honored as Everyday Heroes when a patient made a donation to the Memorial Hospital Foundation to recognize the quality care she received.

Reflecting on her experience at the pain clinic, which is located at The Memorial Hospital at Easton, the donor said, “I am a retired nurse, so I have very high criteria for patient care. The nurses were so competent and caring. They made an uncomfortable procedure comfortable. Afterwards, they called me to make sure I was okay. It could not have been better.”

The Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Everyday Hero Program gives patients and their families an opportunity to acknowledge physicians, staff and volunteers who provide treatment at any Shore Health System facility. Donations are used to fund healthcare programs and services that serve people across the Mid-Shore region.
