Painting On Glass

image003Painting on glass is gaining a fast growing fan base and with good reason. This decorative and durable art form gives plates, stemware, vases and other household accessories a one-of-a-kind design based on the artists’ rendering. Bold strokes and delicate details for painting flowers on glass will be taught by artist and instructor Jean Hilleary on Friday, February 8 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Held at the Queen Anne’s County Arts Council’s Centre for the Arts, students can bring one or two of their own accessories to paint, or purchase items from the instructor before class begins. Ages 16 and older. $25 for members and $30 for non-members. The deadline for registration is February 1. Advance registration only.
