Plein Air-Easton! (the work of the Avalon Foundation) is a weeklong painting completion and arts festival that takes place in Talbot County, MD and is considered one of the most successful Plein air events in the nation. This year, in partnership with the Queen Anne County Arts Council, Plein Air-Easton! hosts its first ever ‘paint out’ in Queen Anne’s County. Nationally acclaimed painters will take in the sites and pick up their brushes at the Chesapeake Exploration Center and Piney Narrows Yacht Haven in Chester, Maryland. Fifteen to twenty artists will be at these locations creating one-of-a-kind artworks. Start your day getting to know some of the Plein Air Easton! artists, visit with Avalon and Arts Council staff and volunteers, and enjoy the County’s famous Kent Narrows area.
