QA Drug Task Force Announces Web Site

The Queen Anne’s County Drug Task Force has a Web site available for public access. The Web site (qadtf.com) provides information about the task force, drug awareness, press releases and local law enforcement agency contact information. The Web site also has a link for citizens to provide tips to the task force by clicking on “drug tip” and entering the information. The Queen Anne’s County Drug Task Force functions as an extension of all law enforcement agencies within the county. It includes the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police, Centreville Police Department, Queen Anne’s County State’s Attorney’s Office, Maryland Natural Resources Police and the Maryland Army National Guard Counter Drug Program. The task force uses the combined resources of local, state and federal agencies to actively pursue groups or individuals who manufacture, distribute or sell illegal drugs within the jurisdictional boundaries of Queen Anne’s County. Anyone with information is urged to contact the task force by using its confidential TIP form on the Web site, or by calling the task directly at 410-758-TIPS (8477).
