NARRATIVE: Victim reported someone had stolen two Stihl chainsaws and a Stihl leaf blower from an open garage. The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between 1700 hours on 12/7 to 0930 hours on 12/8. The items were valued at $1100.

NARRATIVE: Employees at the golf course discovered that someone riding an all-terrain vehicle or “Quad” had damaged the putting green on Hole # 5 of the course. Damage was estimated at $2000.

VICTIM: Male (16) of Centreville
NARRATIVE: Victim was taken to the QA Medical Center after being assaulted. He advised that he and two friends were invited to a bonfire at a girl’s house on Bolton Woods Road. On arrival, the girl’s boyfriend confronted him about statements he had made and apologized, but was then assaulted by the male. The victim sustained bruises and cuts to his face and eye area. Investigation remains open at this time.

ARREST: Robert Chester Morgan (42) of Centreville
CHARGE: DWI / Traffic Citations
NARRATIVE: A dark colored pickup was observed leaving a restaurant parking lot at what appeared to be a high speed, spinning the tires and swerving left and right. The truck was stopped on Banjo Lane and the sole occupant was identified as Robert Morgan.
Due to an odor of alcohol, the driver Morgan was asked to attempt several field sobriety tasks. As a result he was placed under arrest for DWI. Upon the completion of paperwork and issuance of citations he was released on his signature.

CHARGE: Theft
NARRATIVE: Assistant manager at the store reported seeing a white male taking an adult magazine from the rack and leaving the store without paying for the item. It was reported that while the man’s son was purchasing a drink and candy, he slipped the magazine under his jacket, walked out of the store and placed it into the trunk of the car. When she contacted the man he denied taking anything and left with his son. The magazine, a special edition was valued at $12.
The store employee copied the tag number of the car and it was listed to a subject in Queenstown. An application has been submitted to the court for a Criminal Summons.

NARRATIVE: Employees at the Kent Manor Inn reported that they had found both the Inn and the Garden House had been burglarized and assorted alcohol was missing. An inventory indicated that 45 bottles of wine and liquor had been taken valued at $537.

LOCATION: 200 Kent Landing, Stevensville
VICTIM: K-Mart

NARRATIVE: Loss Prevention officers at the store reported that two subjects had been at the store pushing a cart with various items. The female left the store first without paying for anything, soon followed by her male companion. The man was seen taking several items from the cart and leaving the store without paying. When contact was made with the male subject, he continued to the car. The female was described as 5’6” with greenish hair, a large tattoo on her chest and wearing a bandana. The male was 6’00” bald and skinny wearing a beanie style hat and a dark coat.
The tag information of the suspect car, a silver Dodge Neon was checked and was listed to a subject in Henderson but did not match the description of either suspect. A further check of the last name led deputies to a possible female subject who was identified by Store Security.
A deputy responded to the residence and located the car and the two suspects were identified. Charges are pending.

NARRATIVE: Victim reported that at 0200 hours someone was knocking at his front door, but when he checked no one was there. About 20 minutes later he heard a loud bang but was unsure where it originated. A couple hours later, the victim states he felt a draft coming from the garage area and discovered someone had broken the glass in the rear door but it appeared that no entry was made. Damage was estimated at $200.

Bernard Lee Riddick turned himself to the Sheriff’s Office this afternoon at 1430 Hours. After processing, a District Court Commissioner held him on a $15,000 Bond. He is now being held at the QA Detention Center.

INCIDENT: Domestic – Unregistered Sex Offender
DATE / TIME: 11/09/2012 @ 1252 Hours
LOCATION: 211 Riverside Drive, Chester
NARRATIVE: After responding to the residence for a reported domestic, it was learned that one party had fled the area upon learning that police had been called. The suspect was identified as Bernard Lee Riddick and was found to be wanted in Delaware for failing to register as a sex offender in Delaware. Was it was established that Riddick had been living on Riverside Drive since June or July, that information was given to CIU who followed up and requested a warrant for failing to register in Maryland.
Riddick is a 50 year old African American male – 6’0” / 220 Pounds
