INCIDENT: Domestic / CDS Possession

DATE / TIME: 07/25/2013 @ 1130 Hours

LOCATION: 1100 Block of Price Station Road, Church Hill

VICTIM: See Narrative

ARREST: Jason Alan Carr (33) of Church Hill

Adrienne Marie Solloway (33) of Church Hill

CHARGE: Assault 2nd Degree and Possession of CDS

 

NARRATIVE: Deputies were dispatched to location for a reported domestic. Prior to arrival they were advised a handgun may be involved. Once at the residence both parties were located and questioned. It was reported that an argument had started over a text message and employment. When Ms. Solloway went to leave, Mr. Carr attempted to remove the keys. At that time both subjects began to assault each other. Both had minor injuries on their arms and as a result both were placed under arrest.

 

During the questioning, it was learned that the reported gun was under a bed. When searching for it, a spoon with Suspected CDS residue was located.

 

Both subjects were taken to Sheriff’s Headquarters for processing. At an initial appearance both subjects were placed on a $3000 bond each.

INCIDENT: CDS POSSESSION

DATE / TIME: 07/25/2013 @ 2321 Hours

LOCATION: RT 8 @ Batts Neck Road, Stevensville

 

ARREST: Sean Michael Kirkpatrick (20) of Stevensville

CHARGE: Possession of CDS – Marijuana

 

NARRATIVE: 2012 Mazda was observed stopped on the road with no lights on. Deputy pulled behind the car and made contact with the driver. When the window was lower the smell of marijuana became strong and there was a haze of smoke inside. The driver was identified as Sean M. Kirkpatrick who stated the smell was from his electronic cigarette. A search of the car resulted in the seizure of a glass smoking device and a bottle with suspected marijuana residue.

 

Kirkpatrick was transported to Sheriff’s Headquarters for processing and later released on his signature.

INCIDENT: Assault / Warrant Service

DATE / TIME: 07/26/2013 @ 0838 Hours

LOCATION: QA Emergency Center, Grasonville

VICTIM: See Narrative

ARREST: Khiry Rahmond Malik (23) of Denton

CHARGE: Warrant

 

NARRATIVE: Deputies were requested at the QA Emergency Center for a male reporting being assaulted with a pair of pliers by a female. It was learned that the incident occurred in Denton and the victim knew his attacker. The victim, Khiry Malik had several small puncture wounds on his arm and shoulder.

 

While taking the report, it was learned that Malik had an active warrant in Prince Georges County for Disorderly Conduct. Malik was placed under arrest on that warrant and taken to Sheriff’s Headquarters for processing. A District Court Commissioner placed him on a $3000 bond.

 

Denton Police were advised of the incident for follow-up as the incident occurred in their jurisdiction.

INCIDENT: Burglary

DATE / TIME: 07/26/2013 @ 0927 Hours

LOCATION: 1600 Block of Millington Road, Sudlersville

VICTIM: John Truitt of Ingleside

 

NARRATIVE: Victim was at the residence when he noticed an open window. Further inspection of the house indicated unknown person(s) had made entry. An air conditioner and some silverware were reported missing. The value of the items was estimated at $300.

INCIDENT: Assault

DATE / TIME: 07/26/2013 @ 2026 Hours

LOCATION: Fisher Manor, Grasonville

VICTIM: Male (7) of Grasonville

 

NARRATIVE: Victim’s parent reported that another boy had lit a firecracker and threw it at her son who was burned on the arm. Attempts to contact the other child were unsuccessful and the case remains open.

INCIDENT: Assault

DATE / TIME: 07/26/2013 @ 2325 Hours

LOCATION: 201 Wells Cove Road, Grasonville

VICTIM: William K. Berardi of Baltimore

Dfc. Jessica Kellogg of QACSO

ARREST: Clarence Lee Lenoir Jr. of (26) of Grasonville

CHARGE: Assault

 

ARREST: Kathleen Bridget Berardi (30) of Parlin NJ

CHARGE: Assault / Disorderly Conduct / Resisting Arrest

 

NARRATIVE: Deputies were dispatched to the parking lot of the Jetty for a reported assault. On arrival, a male identified as William Berardi reported as he was leaving the Jetty a group was following him. Berardi stated he identified himself as an off-duty police officer and that’s when an African American male came up behind him and assault him causing injuries to his face. A witness pointed out the suspect and he was placed under arrest.

 

Additional units arrived to assist and attempted to get the crowd to leave or return to the establishment. As they did, a female, later identified as Kathleen Berardi began to call unidentified male names and ran towards the man. When Dfc. Kellogg attempted to intervene, Berardi pushed and scratched Kellogg. At that time Berardi was placed under arrest.

 

Both subjects were transported to Sheriff’s Headquarters for Processing and charging documents. Lenoir was later released by a District Court Commissioner. Berardi was also released after posting a $3000 cash bond.

INCIDENT: Medical Emergency

DATE / TIME: 07/27/2013 @ 0236 Hours

LOCATION: Queenstown

VICTIM: Male (74) of Queenstown

 

NARRATIVE: Deputies responded to the residence for a reported home invasion. On arrival an elderly male reported his family members were dead and he was hearing voices. Subject was in poor physical condition as well. Deputies requested EMS to respond and later transported the man to a medical facility for assistance.

INCIDENT: MDOP

DATE / TIME: 07/27/2013 @ 0927 Hours

LOCATION: Old Love Point Park, Stevensville

VICTIM: Pierson’s Comfort Group

 

NARRATIVE: Dfc. Fraser on patrol noticed that a porta-potty at the park had several spray painted racial slurs and obscene words on all four sides. Pierson’s was contacted to respond to clean or remove the unit.

LOCATION: 200 Block of Legion Road, Millington

VICTIM: Gary Kauffmann of Millington

 

NARRATIVE: Victim reported a friend of his son’s had taken a bicycle off his front porch without permission and despite promising to return it had failed to do so. Attempts to locate the 19 year old suspect were unsuccessful that day. Case remains open.

INCIDENT: Theft

DATE / TIME: 07/27/2013 @ 1522 Hours

LOCATION: 425 Outlet Center Drive, Queenstown

VICTIM: Gucci

 

NARRATIVE: Store manager reported that upon reviewing store security video that an African American male had stolen a blue, yellow and brown sweater several hours before. The sweater was valued at $319.00. The suspect was described as late 20’s, short hair wearing a white dress shirt and dark pants and may have been driving a white Infinity SUV.
