Another Drug Dealer Behind Bars!
INCIDENT: CDS Distribution Investigation

LOCATION: 212 Dominion Road – Apt. #1, Chester, MD
ARREST: Patrick Timothy Gray (46) of Chester
CHARGES: CDS Possession with Intent to Distribute (Not Marijuana) – Possession of CDS (Not Marijuana) – CDS Distribution Common Nuisance – Possession of CDS Paraphernalia
NARRATIVE: Recently the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office received several complaints about possible illegal drug transactions occurring near several businesses in the RT 552 / RT 18 intersection. Investigation confirmed citizen reports that the suspected drug activity was stemming from a residence at 212 Dominion Road and that a white male was possibly selling heroin. Investigation indicated that drug “buyers” were frequenting the parking lots of several businesses during those transactions. Members of the Patrol Division of the Sheriff’s Office assisted by detectives from the Narcotics Task Force began surveillance operations in the area. On August 16th and 17th several people were observed parking their vehicles in the rear of a parking near the wooded area at the rear of the residence. A white male (later identified as the defendant Patrick Timothy Gray) was observed approaching each of the vehicles and making “hand-to-hand” drug transactions. The “buyer vehicles” were then stopped by deputies resulting in the arrest of five persons for possession of heroin and a firearm was also seized. Based on the investigation and surveillance operations a search warrant was then obtained for the defendant and his residence.
On Friday evening the 24th at approximately 1711 hrs. members of the Sheriff’s Office took the suspect into custody as he was attempting to make another sale and executed a search and seizure warrant on his residence at 212 Dominion Road Apt. #1 Chester, MD. As a result of the search of his person and residence a quantity of suspected heroin was seized indicting an intent to distribute and over $1,200 in US currency was seized.
Gray was held at the QA County Detention Center on a $30,000 Bail.

INCIDENT: Possession of CDS
DATE / TIME: 08/16/2012 @ 1200 Hours
LOCATION: Piney Creek / Main Street Chester
ARREST: Jacob Wesley Millsap (22) of Stevensville
CHARGE: Possession of CDS (Heroin)
NARRATIVE: Suspect was observed in a dark gray Ford Focus parked in a parking lot in Chester purchasing suspected CDS. The Focus left the lot and was stopped a short distance away from the site. Driver was identified as Jacob W. Millsap of Stevensville. A search of the car resulted in the seizure of a capsule of suspected Heroin. After processing he was later released on his personal recognizance by a District Court Commissioner.

INCIDENT: Possession of CDS (Heroin)
DATE / TIME: 08/17/2012 @ 1149 Hours
LOCATION: RT 552 Dominion Road, Chester
ARREST: Male (49) of Chester

CHARGE: Possession of CDS (Heroin)
NARRATIVE: Two white males were in a gray Volkswagen Jetta parked in a parking lot in the Chester area where suspected CDS transactions were taking place. A white male exited a wooded area and approached the car and a transaction occurred. The Volkswagen immediately left the parking lot and was stopped for a minor traffic violation. Both occupants were removed from the car after a rifle was spotted in the rear seat. Both men were found to have capsules of suspected heroin in their shirt pockets. A baggie with 7 Oxycodone pills was also seized from the driver. Both suspects were released

INCIDENT: Stolen Automobile
DATE / TIME: 08/17/2012 @ 1305 Hours
LOCATION: RT 50 @ Outlet Drive, Queenstown, MD
VICTIM: Enterprise Leasing Co. Philadelphia, PA
ARREST: Edward Francis Dwyer (37) of Boothwyn, PA
CHARGE: Theft / Possession of CDS / Driving while Suspended
NARRATIVE: Maryland Transportation Authority Police at the Bay Bridge reported a possible stolen car going E/B on RT 50. The 2012 White Infiniti was located and stopped near the Outlets in Queenstown by Deputy Armington. The driver was identified as Edward F. Dwyer of PA. The driver admitted to renting the car and never returning it. Records check indicated that he was also suspended in PA and was placed under arrest. A search of Dwyer resulted in the seizure of suspected marijuana, suspected cocaine and paraphernalia. Several other pieces of paraphernalia was also located in the car. The car, valued at $35,000 was impounded and Dwyer transported to the Sheriff’s Headquarters for processing. He was later released after posting a $3500 bail thru a bondsman.

INCIDENT: Assault

LOCATION: Main Street (RT 18) and Shopping Center Drive in Stevensville
VICTIM: Dfc. Jason Rickard
ARREST: William Gerald Schrider (49)
CHARGE: Assault with Sharp Instrument / Failure to Obey Lawful Order / Disorderly Conduct
NARRATIVE: Reports of a white male jumping in and out of traffic and yelling at motorists was received. Dfc. Rickard responded and located the subject. Rickard stopped and called for the man to come back to the patrol car but instead he began to walk away and gave a hand gesture. Rickard then pulled around the man and again exited his car and told the man to stop. The man began to slowly comply but then became enraged and pulled a knife from his pants pocket and began to approach the deputy. When he refused to drop the knife, Rickard used his electronic control device (Commonly referred to as a Taser) and the man dropped to the ground. An off-duty Federal Agent stopped and assisted in taking the man into custody. The suspect, identified as William Schrider stated he was upset with his ex-wife and began to drink, which caused him to become angry.
A District Court Commissioner placed Schrider on a $10,000 bond and he was held at the QA Detention Center.
