Queen Anne’s County’s school board has done a 180 now allowing middle school students to carry cell phones in school. They must be registered with the office and must be turned off during the day or they will be confiscated. Meantime, teachers have agreed to take one more furlough day to resolve the current contract issues. There are already five furlough days. Day six will happen after the first of the year.
