INCIDENT: Medical Emergency
DATE / TIME: 06/07/2013 @ 2235 Hours
LOCATION: Chester, MD.
VICTIM: Female (51) of Chester
NARRATIVE: Deputies responded to a residence in Chester after a concerned family member had called the Sheriff’s Office reporting a female acting strange during a phone conversation. On arrival, deputies found several articles of clothing left in the driveway. After getting no answer to their knocks on the front door, they looked into the windows and saw a female who appeared to be passed out and a candle which was burning an interior wall. Forced entry was made and the woman was awaken. She was screaming and talking to imaginary people. Transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center where she became combative and had to be subdued by deputies and staff.

INCIDENT: CDS Possession

LOCATION: Sudlersville Road @ Duhamel Corner Road, Sudlersville
ARREST: Kingston Melvin Parker (22) of Raleigh NC
CHARGE: CDS Possession of Marijuana
NARRATIVE: 2013 Dodge passenger car was stopped for speeding 21 miles over the speed limit. During the stop it was learned that the car was a rental and the driver, Kingston M. Parker was not an authorized driver per the rental agreement. A K9 scan of the car resulted in the seizure of a baggie with suspected marijuana from a backpack belonging to Parker. Parker was charged with traffic violations and Possession of CDS. After processing he was released on a $1000 unsecured bond. A passenger was not charged and the rental car was released to the person who had rented the car.

VICTIM: Michelle A. Miller of Garnett Valley, PA
NARRATIVE: Victim reported she and her wedding party were at The Jetty for a rehearsal dinner. Victim advised she left her purse on the bar unattended while she mingled with her guests. When she left about 5 hours later, she realized her wallet was missing from her purse. The following morning she checked with staff at the restaurant who located her wallet in the lost & found, however $500 cash was missing.

LOCATION: RT 50 @ RT 662, Queenstown
CITATION: Maura Kathleen Souders (18) of Marriottsville, MD
CHARGE: Underage Possession of Alcohol
NARRATIVE: A Pontiac 4 Door vehicle was stopped for an obstructed windshield. During the stop it was learned that the 18 year old was in possession of several alcoholic beverages including four 12 packs of various beverages, two bottles of vodka and a bottle of rum. The alcohol was seized for destruction and she was issued a civil citation.

LOCATION: 2600 Block of Ellicott Drive in Chester
VICTIM: Jonathan Berger of Chester
NARRATIVE: Victim reported that he had noticed some damage to his siding of his home last week that appeared to have been caused by someone throwing rocks at the house. On today’s date he noticed new damage to the roof of his 2010 Nissan passenger car also caused by rocks being thrown. Damages were estimated at $50 on the siding and $500 to the car.

ARREST: Evangela Deneen Myrick (48) of Dover, DE
CHARGE: Possession of CDS (Marijuana)
NARRATIVE: 1997 Mercury was stopped for a minor traffic offense. As the driver opened the glove box to get her registration a plastic baggie with suspected marijuana was in plain view. She was placed under arrest, processed at the Sheriff’s Office and later released by a District Court Commissioner.

LOCATION: 3632 Main Street, Grasonville
VICTIM: BP Station
NARRATIVE: The business owner, Zaid Aljalil reported that female driving a station wagon began to fuel the car with gasoline and then realized she needed diesel. Victim states the woman became angry and argued that he should have told her what pump to use. She then went to the diesel pump and fueled her car. She continued to argue with the owner and then drove off with the nozzle still in the car causing the line to break. She returned a short time later to return the nozzle but failed to remain on the scene or provide her information.

NARRATIVE: Victim reported that her 2007 Honda Element had been “Keyed” while she had been shopping in Food Lion that morning. Damage was on both sides of the vehicle and was estimated at $2000. NARRATIVE: Deputies responded to an alarm at the location. After checking the building, they discovered fresh damage to a storage room door at the rear of the building. A check of the area failed to locate any suspects. Contact was made with an employee who advised the door did not have any damage before last night and that nothing appeared to be missing.

VICTIM: QA Museum of Eastern Shore Life
NARRATIVE: Alarm call sounded at the museum located in the 4H park outside of Centreville. Sgt. Johnson responded and on arrival found the front glass door shattered. Further investigation showed the power had been shut off and the telephone lines cut. The building was checked and no one was located inside. Nothing was reported to be missing.

NARRATIVE: Victim reported during moving, someone had taken some of her jewelry including a gold & diamond Marquis style ring with 3 diamonds on each side, a gold & ruby Marquis style ring and a gold swirl ring. Items were valued at $5200. Victim advised she had several friends helping her move and had hired three men from a local company to assist. Investigation remains open.

INCIDENT: Assault

LOCATION: 100 Block of Gray Fox Lane, Centreville
VICTIM: Aaron Fitzgerald of Wilmington, DE
NARRATIVE: Deputies and EMS Units responded to location for a reported pedestrian struck by a hit & run driver of a teal colored Honda. An attempt to locate was broadcast without finding the car. On arrival, the victim Aaron Fitzgerald stated he had been visiting his girlfriend and they had argued over a cigarette. When the argument became heated, they both decided to leave. Fitzgerald stated he intended to call someone for a ride, but the female wanted him to ride with her. He refused and stood in front of the car. After arguing some more, she drove into him and left the scene. Despite a noticeable limp and a cut on his right hand, Fitzgerald refused medical treatment. Investigation continues.
