NARRATIVE: Victim reported that in the morning she found her passenger door damaged and her purse had been stolen from her 2012 Ford Mustang overnight. The item was described as a Coach purse with makeup and her driver’s license in it. The loss was estimated at $190. plus the damages to the car.

INCIDENT: Check on Welfare
REPORT DATE/TIME: 09/29/2011 @ 0926 Hours
LOCATION: 101 VFW Avenue, Grasonville
VICTIM: Female (25) of Easton
ARRESTED: Herbert Winfield Thomas (47) of Edgewater, MD
Phillip Eugene Cole (47) of Lanham, MD
NARRATIVE: Deputies were requested to check the welfare of a female subject by Anne Arundel County Police after her mother had received a text message saying her daughter had overdosed. Patrol Units began to check area motels for her vehicle a 2004 Saturn, locating it at the Sleep Inn in Grasonville. Employees at that location advised that a female matching that description was with a male in one of their rooms. Deputies went to the room and found the female and two males, along with suspected crack pipes, syringes and suspected crack cocaine. The female advised she was not feeling well and showed signs of possible overdose. EMS was called and she was transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center for treatment. The two males were charged with several CDS violations and later released on their own recognizance by a District Court Commissioner. Charges are pending on the female.

INCIDENT: MDOP
REPORT DATE/TIME: 09/30/2011 @ 0032 Hours
LOCATION: Mowbray Park, Stevensville, MD
VICTIM: Matthew Forrest of Stevensville
NARRATIVE: Victim reported that he had left his black & red Ford pickup at the park at around 11 PM and was picked up by some friends. When he returned an hour or so later he found that someone had gone thru his truck’s interior scattering items from the console. Forrest decided not to report the incident and began to drive away when his hood raised open and buckled blocking his view. Once stopped he realized someone had scratched a derogatory name on the side of the truck.
Damages were estimated to exceed $1000. The investigation remains open.

NARRATIVE: Victim reported that sometime between 1130 on Thursday night and 7 AM on Friday morning someone broke the passenger window of his 2011 Ford truck. Nothing was reported missing and damage was estimated at $300.

LOCATION: 700 Block of Grasonville Cemetery Road, Grasonville
NARRATIVE: Deputies were dispatched to a residence for a domestic in progress. On arrival they found that the male had fled the area. The female advised she had been thrown to the ground but was late for work and would see the commissioner herself if she wanted charges. No further action by deputies.

INCIDENT: Attempted Burglary
REPORT DATE/TIME: 09/30/2011 @ 1103 Hours
LOCATION: 1200 Block of Round Top Road, Chestertown
VICTIM: Neal M. Goad of Chestertown
NARRATIVE: Mr. Goad reported that a family member had returned home and found a white male at the rear door who than quickly left the location in a vehicle. There was fresh damage to the door however it did not appear that entry was made. The suspect was described as a white male with brown hair, clean shaven in his 20’s wearing a green polo shirt and black pants.
