The Queen Anne’s County Commissioners voted Tuesday to fill expiring terms on the county’s various boards and commissions.
Rick Bowers was appointed to his first term on the Commission on Aging and Fay Williams was reappointed for another term to the commission. Also reappointed were Leonard Deedon to the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council and Lori O’Connell and Adrienne Lowe to the Animal Control Commission.
For the Council for Children and Youth the commissioners reappointed; Jacki Carter, Peg Anawalt, Kim Umberger, Barbara Baxter, Jennifer Doege, Pennie Gill, Anne Van Benschoten, Price Shuler, Bonnie Larrimore, Angela Price, Iris Carter, Lori Yarbrough and appointed Leslie Rucker and Jennifer Crossley.
Jody Schulz and Steve Donovan were reappointed to the Economic Development Commission and Robert Bell will serve another term on the Employee Awards Committee.
For the Kent Narrows Development Foundation the commissioners reappointed Jim Didonato, Mike Harris, Sue Kamp, Larry Toth, and Pat Worns. Judy Wink will serve her first term on the foundation.
Ed Walters will serve another term on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and Mark Cascia begins his first term.
Jim Moran was reappointed to the Planning Commission and Cherae Ensor and Shannon McClellan, Esq., were selected as new appointees.
Also reappointed were Plumbing Board members Mike Sipes and Mike Bozek; Sustainable Communities Council members Ken Addison and Laura Sanford and Zoning Appeals Board members Howard Dean and Craig McGinnes.
