The front lobby and restrooms will be closed to the public during this period, and building access will be limited to appointments and deliveries.

The decision to close the lobby and restrooms is necessary to facilitate much-needed improvements to the building. The Department of Community Services is committed to enhancing the facility’s infrastructure to better serve the community and provide an improved experience for all visitors.

During this time, individuals with appointments or deliveries are advised to access the building through the side entrance. To do so, please walk down the sidewalk to the left while facing the building and ring the doorbell for assistance.

The Department of Community Services building is home to several essential services, including the Area Agency on Aging, Housing Division, and Local Management Board. Despite the temporary inconveniences caused by the renovations, these services will continue to be operational and available to the public.
