QAC Economic Development Commission Seeks Citizen Input

The Queen Anne’s County Economic Development Commission is interested in getting feedback from all sectors of the County’s industries and citizenry on issues related to economic development in the County. Queen Anne’s County residents and business owners are being asked to participate in an on-line survey being conducted by Salisbury University to help the Commission gain a solid understanding of issues and priorities surrounding economic development in the county. Bill Stoops, chairman of the Economic Development Commission, said, “The EDC is taking a new approach by interacting with citizens and business owners in order to help the Commission form its long-range goals and priorities.” The information provided by those taking the survey is confidential and will be used in a study to formulate the County’s Economic Development 10-Year Strategic Plan.

To participate in the survey, go to the County’s website at www.qac.org and click on the link “Take the Economic Development Survey.” The survey will take approximately 15 minutes. For those without access to the internet, a limited number of paper copies of the survey are available by contacting Jean Fabi, Business and Economic Development Liaison, at 410.758.1255.
