The QAC Youth Livestock Auction Committee will be hosting a live, in person auction this Friday August 14th at 6:00 pm at the Queen Anne’s County 4H Park . Registration will begin at 5:00 pm. The purpose of the auction is to support the youth of our County with their livestock projects and fill your freezer with fresh, homegrown farm meat. The children will in return use the funds that they receive to purchase another project for next year.

 

Due to the Covid pandemic all State and County guidelines will be put into practice such as hand sanitizer stations as well as social distancing and face coverings when 6ft social distancing cannot be observed.

 

Local businesses are welcome to come out and support the youth through the auction! If you cannot attend we are allowing “silent bidding” this year. Please contact Amanda Leager at (410)490-4964 or Jessica Clark at (240) 216-8387 by 2:00 pm Friday for more information on how to be set up as a silent bidder at the auction. If a purchase is made letters will be provided for tax purposes.
