On Thursday, October 6th, from 7-9 PM, the Queen Anne’s County League of Women Voters will host a Wine & Cheese Reception at the Queen Anne’s County Art’s Council, located at 206 S. Commerce Street.

This reception will feature a performance by Carole Watters, renowned for her portrayal of a living history of the life of author Pearl S. Buck, highlighting her writing, life in China and humanitarian work.

The suggested donation is $25/person, $100 for host level, or $250 for sponsor level. The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
