Queen Anne’s County Economic & Tourism Development (QACETD) is proud to announce the launch of CatalystQ: The Catalyst of Minority Business Excellence in Queen Anne’s County, a newly expanded and enhanced business training accelerator designed to strengthen minority-owned small businesses. CatalystQ offers a comprehensive program of coaching, mentorship, and resources to help entrepreneurs build capacity, improve resilience, and position themselves for long-term growth.
Through CatalystQ, ten minority-owned businesses operating in Queen Anne’s County will be selected to participate in a program that includes one-on-one coaching, assistance with business plans and marketing strategies, and access to trusted networks of lenders, accountants, insurance providers, and legal professionals. Each participant will also receive a microgrant to support their strategic growth efforts. The program is designed not only to provide immediate tools and resources, but also to cultivate lasting partnerships and connections that will help businesses increase revenue, create jobs, and contribute more broadly to the county’s economy.
Applications for CatalystQ are due by September 12, 2025, at 5 p.m., with selected participants notified on September 15. The program will officially begin later that month, bringing together entrepreneurs ready to invest in their futures and in the broader prosperity of Queen Anne’s County.
