Talented artist and local business owner Candace Liccione offers a workshop through the Queen Anne’s County Arts Council on Sunday, January 17. Create a whimsical, glitzy fish mosaic as you learn basic techniques using ceramic pieces, mosaic tiles and broken plate pieces.

Liccione grew up in the craft industry with her family’s business Aleene’s Tacky Glue. She has been teaching crafts for many years as the owner of a gift shop in Philadelphia and a farm in Pennsylvania. She owns Wye River Designs where she teaches mosaics, jewelry making, collage, rubberstamping, and mixed media arts and crafts.   Ages 13+. The class is Sunday, January 17 from noon to 4pm and will be held off-site at Wye River Designs, 4300 Main Street in Grasonville. Registration deadline is January 8. The cost is $73.
