david-schiffQueen Anne’s County Arts Council Presents Dave Schiff and Spontaneous Invention

An intimate venue with only 132 seats and incredible acoustics, the Centre for the Arts delivers an extraordinary concert experience you won’t forget. On Saturday, March 22nd, we welcome Dave Schiff and Spontaneous Invention Jazz Trio to our stage for a night of music that is always “an adventure and a journey”, as Dave Schiff likes to say. This group will deliver intuitive, classic jazz with the spontaneity and imagination that inspired their name.

Dave’s expertise on all woodwinds has given him the opportunity to back great acts all over the country, including performers such as Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra Jr., Natalie Cole, Aretha Franklin and many more. Dave performed for 20 years with the U.S. Navy’s premiere jazz ensemble, the Commodores. When Dave is not on tour, he usually finds himself in the theatres in the Philadelphia area playing Broadway shows.

The performance is at 7:00 p.m. at the Centre for the Arts ~ 206 S. Commerce Street in Centreville, Maryland.  Advance tickets are $30 for members or $35 for non-members and $40 at the door as space allows. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. There will be an After Party with the band following the concert. To reserve your seat, please visit our website:  www.queenannescountyarts.com or call 410.758.2520.
