Challenge Walk MS

Queen Anne’s County, Cross Island/ South Island Trails Saturday’s Challenge Walk route takes you on a tour of Kent Island in Queen Anne’s County. Starting from Romancoke Pier, walkers will enjoy the first 12 miles before lunch along the South Kent Island Trail where walkers will experience beautiful waterfront views of the Chesapeake Bay. You’ll enjoy lunch at Mowbray Park and after lunch take a short shuttle to the head of the Cross Island Trail. Pecometh Upper Shore Century Bike Ride

Countywide – Autumn is a wonderful time to cycle around the beautiful Eastern Shore of MD. Pecomthe welcomes cyclists to our annual bicycling adventure. The supported tour consists of four routes: 12 miles, 33 miles, 72 miles and 100 miles. The routes explore the scenery of Queen Anne’s, Kent and Caroline counties. The Chesapeake Bay Community Band presents its 3rd annual Oktoberfest Saturday, September 28 at American Legion Post 278, 800 Romancoke Rd. (Rte. 8), Stevensville, MD. The event is a fundraiser for the Chesapeake Bay Community Band. The doors will open at 5:00 p.m. with an all-you-can-eat buffet including bratwurst, pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, green beans and dessert served from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The festivities include a silent auction, raffle ,cash bar and music for dancing provided by an 8-piece polka band.
