Queen Anne’s County Free Library Hosts Milkshake Concert
The Queen Anne’s County Library welcomes Grammy-nominated children’s musical duo Milkshake on Monday, April 21 at 11:00 a.m. at the Centreville Branch, 121 S. Commerce Street, and 2:30 p.m. at the Kent Island Branch, 200 Library Circle, Stevensville.
Children from ages 2-10 and their families are invited to sing and dance as they learn about tempo, rhythm, and beat.
Milkshake recently received a Parents’ Choice Recommended Award for their CD “Bottle of Sunshine.” That album and others by Milkshake are available in the libraries’ children’s music collection. Milkshake’s videos have also appeared on Nick Jr.
The performance is made possible by a Rural Access Grant from Young Audiences of Maryland.
All library events are free of charge. Additional information is available at the library’s website (www.quan.lib.md.us) or by calling (410) 758-0980 or (410) 643-8161.
