Queen Anne’s County Library Celebrates Selection as an ACME GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS Reusable Bag Program Beneficiary

(Centreville, MD) – Queen Anne’s County Library has been selected as a beneficiary of the ACME GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS Reusable Bag Program from August 15-September 30.

The ACME GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS Reusable Bag Program, which launched in August 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.

Queen Anne’s County Library was selected as the mid-August/September beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the ACME located at 611 Railroad Avenue in Centreville. Queen Anne’s County Library will receive a $1 donation every time the $3.00 reusable GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS Bag is purchased at this location from August 15 through September 30, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.

“We are very excited to be chosen for this program. It’s so easy to participate!,” said Janet Salazar, Director of Queen Anne’s County Library. “The money we receive from this great program will go to enhance our services and programs such as our children’s early literacy programs: Bouncing Babies and Preschool story time and our adult programs like Crime and a Cuppa and Crafty Adults. It’s the support from our community that makes our library so successful.”
